L'exposition Patrick Jouin - La substance du design, conçue en étroite collaboration avec le designer et son équipe, met en évidence la méthodologie d'une œuvre et d'une équipe en présentant une vingtaine de projets au travers de plate-formes matérielles et visuelles emblématiques.
Le public découvre ainsi les coulisses d'une agence de design du maniement des concepts, des objets, des scénarios, des textes, des dessins, des projections, des échantillons, des prototypes, des maquettes, d'une chimie de la création.
Né en 1967, Patrick Jouin est l'un des protagonistes majeurs du design contemporain, sur les scènes française et internationale. The exhibition Patrick Jouin - La substance du design, designed in collaboration with the designer and his team, highlights the methodology of a work by presenting around twenty projects through material and visual aids emblematic of the Agency's production, which was created ten years ago by Patrick Jouin.
The public will thus be able to go behind the scenes of a design agency which manages objects, scripts, texts, drawings, screenings, samples, prototypes and scale models, inventing dialogues between them, and, in turn, forming the chemistry/alchemy of creation.
Born in 1967, Patrick Jouin is one of the major protagonists of contemporary design on the French and international scene. Since 1999, his Parisian agency has distinguished itself by the diversity of its activities: construction design, architecture, industrial design, handicraft, scenographies, street furniture, etc.
